Angelica is a food writer who bakes, runs a food blog and organises food workshops. She likes that food comes from passion, knowledge and respect. I believe food is a language we all speak. Just like language, it is a way for humans to define our relationships with ourselves, others and the world.

Our families and communities are built around food
I hope we don’t land up living on pills in the future. It would be dehumanising. There are so many good stories.
It gives me the right rhythm. It’s a matter of organisation and discipline. It’s like a spiritual and mental training.
I have to align with the rhythm of the starter – it has it’s own rhythm. It’s also related to the environment – I have to adjust to the temperature and humidity of the air. I have to be very aware.
It engages all my senses. It feels more human to take time to do these things.
